Would you have invested in Microsoft in 1978?
Surprisingly to me, many people have trouble picking Bill
Gates
out in this picture. That's him on the lower left and that's Paul Allen
on the lower right. I have no idea who all the other 9 people are. When
this
picture was taken, Microsoft was an 11 person company. Do you know who
these people are? If so, send me an email. I'm curious.
Addendum July 2001: Well... the question has been answered,

Hi, Here are the names of the people in the famous 1978
photo. I know most of them.
You may have gotten this information already, but here goes--left to right:
Upper row: Steve Wood, Bob Wallace, Jim Lane
Middle row: Bob O'Rear, Bob Greenberg, Marc McDonald, Gordon Letwin
Bottom row: Bill Gates, Miriam Lebow, Marla Wood, Paul Allen.
Two employees did not appear in the photo: Ric Weiland and one other whose
name I've forgotten.
There is another version of the same photo with everyone smiling, except
Gordon. I like it much better, and so did my late husband, Bob Wallace (1949-2002).
